Clay has always been a part of Charlotte’s life. Before she was born her parents set up their own pottery studio and Charlotte has memories of sitting on the sofa making clay figurines with her siblings. From her studio in North Yorkshire, Charlotte’s work comes with strong cultural and historical connotations that she is keen to assimilate and explore.
